What Is EFT? Emotional Freedom Techniques
“I can not believe this works this well”
Whether you want to deal with emotional blocks, stress, anxietiy, fears, anger, traumas, addictions, phobias, alleviate physical pains, reach your ideal weight, or stop smoking, EFT helps make it happen.
Emotional Freedom Technique is often explained as "acupuncture for the emotions without the needles". It is a natural, simple, easy to learn, easy to do, highly effective self healing method. EFT is based on the ancient Eastern Medicine that is over 4000 years old which is based on invisible meridians and acu-points, in combination with modern psychology and it is part of the growing Energy Medicine and Energy Psychology which are becoming widely recognized and utilized and EFT is at the lead.
EFT is a technique where one applies gentle tapping on different parts of the body, while focusing for a short period of time on one’s issue. This is based on the idea that negative emotions are stored and actually represent blocks in our energy systems. The tapping releases the energy blocks caused by the negative emotions, which are the sources of our emotional and physical ailments, and rebalances the body’s energy system by allowing the energy to flow smoothly, and hence we feel physically and emotionally better. This is based on the premise that to heal one must address the unresolved emotional issues, which contribute to the physical or emotional pain.
EFT dials into the core negative emotion, or limiting belief and allows you to easily release them. In releasing the negative emotions, you become healthier, happier, and improve performance in any area of life.
EFT was discovered by Gary Craig; a Stanford engineer, developed EFT in the 1990’s after studying Thought Field Therapy, and Kinesiology. Since its foundation in 1995 EFT continues to provide encouraging, and at times amazing results even when used by new comers on themselves.
"Emotional Freedom Techniques have been clinically effective when properly applied. In over 80% of the cases EFT recipients and practitioners achieve either noticeable improvements or complete cessation of the problem.” (EFT Manual). Over 20 clinical trials published in medical and psychology journals have demonstrated that EFT is effective for phobias, anxiety, depression, post traumatic stress disorder, pain and other problems.
EFT has shown results, often where nothing else has, and recently has proven to be very effective in treating PTSD is a few sessions.
The basic EFT process is highly effective on a variety of issues, easy to do, takes about 30 seconds, is harmless, and once you know how, it is free of charge.
